The whole experience from start to finish was a joy - even for the Lake District in November. The hotel is well situated in a quiet area of Bowness yet just a five minute walk into town. The Superior room was well supplied with quality toiletries, plenty of tea and coffee, was warm - plenty of hot water, towels, and dressing gowns. The breakfast was exceptional, we had dinner both nights where the food was expertly cooked and well presented. The staff were helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Well done all round, and would highly recommend to anybody looking for a relaxing and comfortable short stay in this area.”
